Seven Churches Tour

Tour Overview

Day 1 – Istanbul: Arrival to Istanbul Airport. Visit Topkapı Palace, Blue Mosque, Hippodrome and Hagia Sophia. Enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise and transfer to hotel.

Day 2 – Pergamon / Thyatira: Drive to Pergamon and visit the Red Church (Basilica of Pergamon). Continue to Akhisar to see the Church of Thyatira.

Day 3 – Ephesus: Visit the ruins of St. John Basilica, St. John Tomb, Ephesus Ancient City and the House of Virgin Mary.

Day 4 – Smyrna / Sardes / Philadelphia / Laodicea: Visit Agora of Smyrna in İzmir, Temple of Artemis and Church of Sardes, Philadelphia Church and the ruins of Laodicea. Continue to Pamukkale.

Day 5 – Pamukkale / Cappadocia: Visit Pamukkale travertines and Hierapolis ancient city. Continue the journey to Cappadocia.

Day 6 – Cappadocia: Optional Hot Air Balloon tour. Visit Dervent Valley, Göreme Open Air Museum, Underground City and Uçhisar Castle.

Day 7 – Ankara / Istanbul: Stop at Salt Lake for photos and visit Anıtkabir in Ankara before returning to Istanbul.

Day 8 – Istanbul: Visit Pierre Loti Hill by cable car, enjoy free time at Spice Bazaar, Taksim Square and Istiklal Street. Transfer to airport.
