Tour Overview
Arrival to Istanbul Airport. After breakfast, start the tour with Topkapı Palace, the former imperial residence of the Ottoman Empire for nearly 400 years. Then visit the Blue Mosque, known as Sultanahmet Mosque, famous for its blue Iznik tiles and stained glass. Continue to the Hippodrome of Constantinople to see the Obelisk from Egypt, Serpentine Column from Delphi, and Fountain of Wilhelm II. Next, visit Hagia Sophia, a 6th-century masterpiece of Byzantine architecture, which later became a mosque during the Ottoman period.
After lunch at a local restaurant, enjoy a Bosphorus Cruise along the two continents of Europe and Asia. The tour concludes with a visit to the Grand Bazaar, the largest covered market in the world. Dinner at a local restaurant and transfer to the airport for your flight.
